2013 Women of Time

In 2013, shortly after the birth of her first child, the designer felt the need to honor all women. Although it may be cliché to describe all the changes that occurs in the body, mind and soul of a woman when she becomes a mother, it is undeniable that these changes interfere greatly in their personal and professional life. With the strength, beauty and power of the fairer sex in mind, several female icons from different times and nationalities became the inspiration for tiaras, bows and flowers.

From Coco Chanel and Minnie Mouse to Brigitte Bardot, Jane Birkin and Lady Gaga, each artist became a muse for her interpretations. The only female figure who wasn’t famous (and yet, was the most important model for the designer in this collection) was Rita de Cassia, her mother, whose delicacy and discretion became the inspiration for a beautiful tiara named after her.
